March Updates By: David Purdon Submitted: 2/23/2010
From your Modernization Director-
It looks like we’re getting off to a good start this year! January weather wasn’t too bad. We have had a lot of cold weather so far this year– February ...well, what can I say. It started to snow, and snowed some more, and then snowed some more, and before the end of February it’s supposed to snow again! With all this snow on the ground it might be the last of March or the first part of April before we get any outside work done. Back to the Modernization news, it looks like the new storm doors for the Beechwood Complex (family side) will be here around the 25th or the 26th of February. As soon as the weather is acceptable for installation, we will get started on their installation. The elderly side will be getting new roof fronts as soon as the weather is acceptable for the removal of the old roofs and the new roof installation process. The Beechwood elderly side will be receiving new furnaces when the bidding for the project is complete. There are always new projects taking place on the different complexes, so be on the look out for improvement activity near you. Well, that’s about it for right now. Until next month-
